The mushroom coffee was pleasantly balanced and enjoyable. When dringking it black it has a earthy flavor that is different than your traditional coffee but is still smooth. The earthiness isn't overpowerful. This coffee taste unique when drinking it black, but you can also add creamer and sugar without loosing the natural flavor.
This mushroom coffee was SOLID! Not too strong as far as a kick in the head with caffeine like with regular coffee, but not too weak to the point where it feels like a placebo. I would love just a bit more flavor of some kind, possibly chocolate or a mocha, but a solid 8.5/10 for me!
